【SS】バスの受け身

バスに乗っている。
もうすぐ終点に着くはずである。

降車するなら前から三番目の席が良い。
そのことは過去の経験から知っていた。

だが、前から三番目の席は塞がっている。
過去の経験を活かせないとは残念だ。

前方より大型トラックが突っ込んでくる。

バスの運転手は素早くハンドルを左に切り　
サイドミラーを失いながらもやり過ごす。

ところが、バスは右に傾き、そのまま横転する。

バスが停止する時は傾かなければならない。

そのことは過去の経験から知っていたので　
私はあまり驚かなくて済んだのだが　
ほとんどの乗客は戸惑いの表情である。

やがてバスは起き上がり、時刻表を守り　
終点のバス停に着くと、さらに横転する。

私は運転手と抱き合って歩道に投げ出される。
模範的な停車であるとは認めにくい。

乗客の一人、老人が怒って文句を言う。
「もっと受け身を習いなさい」

ごく常識的な忠告ではないかと思うのだが　
運転手の頬は涙で濡れている。

Bus Passive

I am on the bus.
We should arrive at the end soon.

The third seat from the front is better if I get off.
I knew that from past experience.

However, the third seat from the front is blocked.
It is a pity that I can not make use of past experience.

A heavier truck comes in from the front.

The bus driver quickly turns the steering wheel to the left
and passes over while losing the side mirror.

However, the bus tilts to the right and turns over as it is.

When the bus stops it must be tilted.

As I knew about that from the past experience,
I was not surprised a lot,
but most passengers are confused expressions.

Eventually the bus gets up, keeping the timetable
and reaching the terminal stop at the end, further rolling over.

I am hugged with the driver and thrown to the sidewalk.
It is difficult to recognize that it is an exemplary stop.

One of the passengers, the old man complains with anger.
"Learn more passive."

I think that it is a very sensible advice,
but the cheek of the driver is wet with tears.
