【SS】砂の扉

　　ここで死ぬるは
　　ここで生まるるより多し

あるところに砂漠があり
その果てに偉大な扉があった。

まだ誰にも開けられたことのない扉。
鍵穴はなく、わずかな隙間さえない。

だから、扉の向こう側を知る者は
どこにもいないのだった。

「黄金の宮殿がそびえているのだ」
「いや。世界を征服できる剣があるのだ」

「いやいや。きっと、どんな望みでも叶う
　魔法の泉が湧いているに違いない」

そんなふうに
ただ己の欲望を投影するばかり。

この扉はカでは開かない。
呪文でも開かない。

爆薬でも壊れなかった。

空しい試みが繰り返され　
多くの猛者もさが扉の前で屍となった。

さて、ここで疑問がある。

開くことのない扉は本当に扉だったのだろうか。
扉そっくりに描かれた砂の絵ではなかったか。
　

The Sand Door

More to die here than to be born here

There was a desert somewhere,
and at the end there was a great door.

The door that no one has opened yet.
There are no keyholes and even small gaps.

So no one knew the other side of the door.

"The golden palace is towering."
"No. There is a sword that can conquer the world."

"No. I'm sure there is a magical fountain
that will fulfill any wish."

They just project their own desires like that.

The door cannot be opened by strength.
It doesn't open even with spells.

It didn't break even with explosives.

After repeated empty attempts,
many fierce men became corpses in front of the door.

Now, I have a question here.

Was the door that never opened really a door?
Wasn't it a picture of sand drawn just like a door?
