【SS】ヘグナムシ

あやしげな物を売るあやしげな店で
あやしげな店主が教えてくれた。

「この水槽の中にヘグナムシがいるのです」

それを聞いて驚かないわけにいかない。

外に待たせていた連れを急いで呼んだ。
連れは正体不明のあやしい虫である。

「なんだい？」
小さな虫だが、しっかり言葉を話せる。

「この水槽の中に入ってごらん」
連れの虫は素直に水槽の中に入る。

なんの疑いもなく水面を泳ぎまわる。
少し頭が足りないのだ。

「これがどうかしたの？」

突然、水面から胴長の生物が跳ねた。
と思ったら、その大きな口で連れを捕らえた。

「なんだなんだなんだ！」
連れの虫はひどく騒いだ。

まあ、当然の反応ではある。

ヘグナムシは一気に飲み込めないらしくて
すぐに連れの虫を吐き出した。

「なんだなんだなんだ！」

逃げまわる連れの虫に教えてやる。
「それ、ヘグナムシなんだって」

連れの虫は水面に立ち止まる。
「なに、ヘグナムシ？」

そのため、性懲りもなく
再び大きな口に捕らえられてしまった。

「ああ、とっても気持ち好い！」
そんな強がりを言うのだった。

Hegunamusi

A shabby store that sells obnoxious items,
an apology shopkeeper taught us.

from the surface of the water.

The companion insect stops on the surface of the water.
