【SS】雪の城

その年の冬は大雪だった。
屋根から下ろした雪が屋根より高くなった。

前年は、雪でスポーツカーをつくった。
その年は、雪で城をつくる計画だった。

しっかりと城の設計図まで書いた。
方眼紙に定規を当てて書いた立派なもの。

つくる場所は、家の裏の畑の上。
もちろん雪に埋もれて畝うねなど見えない。

ある晴れた朝、シャベルを雪面に突き刺した。

アーチ式の門を立て、城壁をめぐらす。
中央には螺旋階段のある、大きな塔を築く。

王と女王のための豪華な玉座ぎょくざも並べて置く。

美しい姫君のための寝室まで用意した。
天蓋付きのベッドが備えられてあるのだ。

氷柱を何本も削ったりして、大変だった。
水彩絵の具で雪の表面に着色したりもした。

熱中のあまり、時の立つのも忘れてしまった。

そして、とうとう見事な雪の城が完成した。
本物の城にも負けていない、と思った。

それにしても、完成するのが遅すぎた。
冬も春もとうに過ぎ、夏の盛りになっていた。

　
Snow Castle

It was heavy snow in that winter.
The snow from the roof got higher than the roof.

In the previous year, I made a sports car with snow.
That year was a plan to make a castle with snow.

I firmly wrote up the design of the castle.
A wonderful thing written with a ruler on a grid paper.

The place to make is on the field behind the house.
Of course it is buried in snow and it can not see ridges.

A sunny morning, I pierced the shovel onto the snow.

Set up an arched gate and overtake the wall.
In the center build a large tower with a spiral staircase.

Also luxurious throne for the king and the queen
are placed side by side.

I prepared a bedroom for a beautiful princess.
There is a canopy bed.

It was hard to scrape off a few icicles.
I painted the surface of the snow with a watercolor paint.

I have forgotten to stand time because of my passion.

And finally a splendid snow castle was completed.
I thought that I was not defeated to a real castle.

Even so, it was too late to complete.
Winter and spring passed long ago, it was midsummer.
