フラット決まりました

フラットがこの度決まりまして、周辺をぶらぶらお散歩。この日は天気も良くて気温も長袖1枚で快適なお散歩日和。

フラットが決まるまで、Airbnbでゲストハウスやインを転々としてたけどやっと決まって一安心。 渡英2週間で定住出来て良かった。spareroomっていうアプリで探す人も多いらしいけど、試して見たところホストから返信が来たのは5件中1件だけ。。

このままじゃ泊まるとこない！って焦ってパート先のベーカリーのオーナーの知り合いづてに不動産屋の日本人の方に連絡をとってフラットを紹介してもらいました。

その方曰く、このエリアは東京でいうところの表参道とか代官山みたいな高級エリアだから今のフラットは破格でちょうど前の人が出ていったタイミングだからとってもラッキーとのこと。中心部のアクセスはいいのに都心っぽい雑多な感じはなくて既に気に入ってます。

その方に仕事探しの近況を相談するとフラットの目の前のカフェのオーナーとコンタクトをとってくれて掛け持ち先のカフェが決まりました。徒歩20秒。うん、良き。人脈が連鎖していってるのを実感。

フラットメイトは日本人女性2人でとてもフレンドリーで素敵な方々。ハロウィンには自炊パーティしようねって入居初日でワイワイしてます。

Finally, I've moved in a new place, in the Nothern west of London. That afternoon, I went for a walk around the area! It was a beautiful day, and I 
brought my camera with me. It's a lovely photo, isn't it?🍁

Before I settled in, I was moving from place to 
place couple of times with my heavy suitcase. Now, I'm so glad that  I could find a nice room in the 
first two weeks.

Some say they look for a flat online, using apps 
such as "spareroom" but it didn't work for me at all. I've got only 1 reply out of 5, so I was being 
afraid of not having any place to stay. However
fortunately, I got a connection with a middle aged Japanese man who is a real estate agent. Now, I 
live in the flat he showed me.

He told me that "this area is kinda posh, and many celebrities live here. If it were in Tokyo, it would be Omote Sando, or Daikanyama, and you are super
 lucky since the previous resident just left a 
week ago."

Although It has an easy access to the central 
London, it's really a relaxing place. I love it a lot 
even for one day staying.

I told him a bit about the difficulty of my job 
hunting in London, then he suddenly took his 
phone and started talking with somebody. 
Apparently, the person on the line was a owner of the cafe in front of my new flat, what's more, he is my flat's owner as well😂😂

It takes just 20sec on foot to the cafe. 
I expect he will give me the place to live in and the enough money to live on🥺🥺🌟

That reminds me how important building connections between local people is when we live in a 
different area. 

There are 2 other Japanese women in the flat. 
They having welcomed me, I'm so happy to come 
here. We're gonna have a Halloween party this 
month. I'm looking forward to carving a
Jack-o'-lantern🎃
