リベカのアドベント -７日目-
リベカは、昨日の日曜学校の先生の言葉をずっと反すうしていました。
めずらしく、学校の授業中もぼんやりとしていました。
「リベカさん。次のページを音読してください」
慌てたリベカは、彼女がいつも着ているコートのように真っ赤になって立ち尽くしています。隣の席のコウジは、嫌みのように笑いましたが、すぐにここだよ、と教えてくれました。
リベカはその日、一日中ぼんやりとしていました。

Rebecca was reflecting on what her Sunday school teacher had told her yesterday. She was not paying close attention in class, which was rare for her.
“Rebecca, please read the next passage to the class.”
Scrambling, Rebecca turned red as the coat that she always wore. Koji, sitting in the seat next to her, chuckled but was quick to show her where she was supposed to read.
Rebecca was in a haze all day long.
