すず奴のボストンバスキング日記 day6

本日参加しようと思っていた予定が無くなったのと気温も良かったのとで、奮起して二日続けてバスキング。昨日いい感じだった場所に人が座っていたので、迷いつつday1と同じ場所に戻った。

今日はうろ覚えだった曲のメロディをちゃんとしようと思って楽譜と譜面台、そして練習になるだろうとフルートを持参した。しかし風が強くて譜面台が揺れるまくるのと、フルートは下手過ぎるのとで全然戦力にならず。

目の前の芝生を大きな工事車両が何度も整備のために行き交い、大きな音がしてバスキングの音が聞こえなくなるハプニングも起きた。他の場所に移ろうか迷うも移動が面倒でそのまま続けた。

チップが多くもらえるようになると、やっぱり欲が出てしまう。2時間吹き続けるとけっこう身体も頭もへろへろになるのに、今日はチップ少なめだからもう少し頑張ろうか？という欲が頭をかすめる。次の場所を探して15分程公園をうろうろした。でも、「バスキングでは無理しない」ように踏みとどまった。私にはすぐ無理しようとする癖がある。楽しいバスキングにそんな癖を持ち込む訳にはいかない。せっかく得た楽しいことなんだから、楽しいまま続けたい。

Today was a warm and cloudy day. Some were sitting on a chair where was the best place for my busking so far, so I came back to the first place I had begun busking. 

I brought a Duke Ellington's Real Book, music stand, and flute for today, to play correct melody of some songs I hadn't memorized yet, and to practice flute. However it was so windy that the stand couldn't keep standing up, my playing flute was awful, at last I gave up the stand and flute.

A big wheel loader went back and forth on the lawn in front of me, and that interrupted my music somewhat. I wondered if I had to move to other place but I stayed there because moving with a lot of stuffs was a little bit tough for me.

Last time I could get some good money so I expected that it would happen to me again today, but today I got less than I had expected. Playing trombone for 2 hours without taking rest makes me exhausted physically and use my brain so much. I was tired today after 2-hour playing but I even tried to keep playing to earn more tips. I wandered to pick up a better place to play for 15 mins, but quit it. I tend to work hard for anything, but I know that is not good for me. Especially working too hard for what I love to do is so ridiculous. I'd like to keep doing busking as happily as when I started.
