About Genetic Engineering

     I think we should do more research on genetic technology because it has the possibilities to enable our lives good. New technology comes from failure. For example, when airplanes were developed, there were more accidents than now. At that time, if we said, "Airplanes are banned because they are cause accidents," we wouldn't have lived in rich and convenient world. We can say the same thing about engineering technology. As it is a new technology, research is done and it may not be safe. Accidents and failures will continue to occur. However, they will continue to improve with repeated research and experiments. So I'm sure it will succeed in the long run. Rather, I believe that something that enable our lives good cannot be born without failure.
