世界中のラジオで反戦歌を流そう

2月24日、ロシアがウクライナに侵攻を開始した日。
私たちはこんな日を幾度となく経験してきました。
独裁者が起こす戦争。軍が起こす戦争。市民の誰一人も望まない戦争。
反対する市民はとらえられ、時には殺され、反戦運動は弾圧されてきました。
ウクライナだけではありません。世界にはまだたくさんの国と地域が武力による衝突の真っ只中にいます。
戦う双方が自らの正当性を主張し、世界はどちらに味方するかで割れていきます。最悪の終着点は世界大戦です。各地で続く戦争は、世界大戦を回避するための代理戦争なのかもしれません。
そして、犠牲者はいつも、銃を持たない、持つ意志のない市民です。
私たちに何ができるのでしょうか。署名も反戦集会も市民の意思表示の一つです。でも戦地の悲惨な状況、為政者の厚顔さを目の当たりにすると、一人の市民として無力を感じるときがあります。
でも、もし、世界中のラジオ局が一斉に反戦歌を流す日をつくったら、もう少しだけ、市民の力を結集できるかもしれません。国を動かす力になるかもしれません。
ウクライナでの戦争だけではありません。世界では紛争、武力衝突が続いています。
私たち市民が貝にならないで、平和への願いを届ける手段の一つが、音楽なのかなと思います。2月24日、世界中のラジオ局が反戦歌を流したら、それはきっと何らかの力になるはずです。

February 24, the day Russia launched its invasion into Ukraine.
We have experienced many days like this.
Wars waged by dictators. War waged by the military.
Wars that none of the citizens wants. Dissenting citizens have been captured and sometimes killed, and the anti-war movement has been suppressed.
Not only in Ukraine. Many countries and regions in the world are still in the midst of armed conflicts.
Both sides of the wars assert their legitimacy, and the world is divided over which side they stand with.
The worst ending point is the world war. The wars that continue in various places may be proxy wars to avoid world wars.
And the victims are always citizens who do not have weapons and do not have the will to have.
What can we do?
Both signatures and anti-war rallies are expressions of citizens' intentions.
However, when we see the tragic situation on the battlefield and the politicians being impudent and shameless, we sometimes feel powerless as a citizen.
But if we could create a day when radio stations around the world would play anti-war songs all at once, we might be able to rally a little more citizens. It may be a force that moves the country.
Not only the war in Ukraine. Conflicts and armed clashes continue in the world.
I think music is one of the ways for citizens to convey our wishes for peace without clamming up.
If on February 24, radio stations around the world play anti-war songs, it will surely help in some way.
