大昔、天才テレビくんでカバーされてました。
なんとなくワイワイ仲良さそうで
こどもながらにいい曲だな〜と感じました。
大変明るい曲調で、恋の再燃を謳っているのかな〜と文字通り見たら取れます。

でも私はなんとなくそう感じられなくて。
気持ちが落ちている時に明るくなれるかな〜と思って聞いたら、
逆にず〜〜んとより落ち込んじゃいました。

なんでかなーとここ1ヶ月考えてみて
私なりの結論が。

〜この恋はもう実ることがないのだなと
曲を聞いて感じてしまったから〜

はい、『どれだけ私にとって貴方が大切か。そして貴方は私を同じく必要としていた。』
過去形〜〜〜きっとこの人は
もう『貴方』は振り向いてくれない事を
悟っているんですね。結構悟ってます。

貴方は多分ただしくて、私は間違っていたよね。悟ってます。

でも、貴方が大好きで必要だからまたチャレンジするぞ！
とニコニコしているのが、
余計に辛いです。
きっと叶わない、でも伝えずにはいられない。
伝えたって困るんだろう、でもチャレンジするしか無い。という逆説的な感情が
ニコニコして明るい曲調に現れていますよね。

しかしこの明るい曲調ですが、
『この人、叶わない事悟ってるわ』という感情が
コード進行にも表現されているように
感じます。

コード進行全然詳しく無いのですが、
例えば、前述の
Is how I need you
And how you needed me too

の悟りシーン。コード進行不安気じゃ無いですか？
昔音楽の先生から、だいたいの音楽は、
楽しい→まだ楽しい→不安→不安からの解放
となるよと教わりました。
あー、これは悟ってますね。

私はこの曲が大好きです。
しかし聞き時を考えると落ちます。
昔好きだった人への想いが再燃し、
頭の片隅では
現実的では無い、叶わない、迷惑をかけるかもしれないと分かっているけれども、
気持ちが抑えきれない。
一緒にいた時を思い出して耐えられないから
歌うしか無い。
というように聞こえます。

昔と今の恋人との関係性や理想とのギャップでも言い換えできると思います。


でも、曲を聴いて落ち込むことも一種のデトックスです。
悲しくなったり落ち込んだり、立ち直れなかったりする人生だけど、
いつかは長い時間が心を癒してくれるということを教えてくれる、
『The longest time』でした。
