[On the 1st of May, we celebrate "Maifeiertag" in Germany.]

全部のドイツ祝日と同じでね(笑)[If I'm honest, I don't really know how it started, but basically there was some conflict about worker's rights, and the workers won. And today we're still happy about that, thanks to a national holiday 😂 But the celebration goes like any other in Germany: Drink beer, blast music and eat pork.]

[I actually don't like beer, and I'm also not a big fan of eating chunky meat like this, so I don't often go to these kinds of festivals, but it actually tasted pretty good this time〜]

And you call yourself a German?!

Yeah, whatever honestly 😂

[This kind of pork is what we call Schweinshaxe. It's made from the pig's leg. The upper leg to be precise, if I'm not mistaken]

[My German friends (who actually do like going to these festivals regularly) said that the Schweinshaxe at the festival we went to this year was the best they've ever had]

(Stupferichと言う村、Karlsruheの近くで)[I also think it doesn't really get any better than this. And it was cheap, too! A little bit less than 10€. But I guess that's because this festival was held in a small village, by the name of "Stupferich", which is near Karlsruhe. ]

[And after we finished our meal, we went to our favorite Bubbletea shop. I'm really glad there are at least a few Bubbletea shops left in Germany]

[If people are interested, maybe I will write an article about this shop as well :p ]
