当たり前ですが、曲というのは、まず低音から入り、一番盛り上げたい部分でハイトーンになります。

それならば、いきなり一番高い音から入り、一番盛り上げたい部分を一番低い音にして作曲ができるのか？

ふとそう思って実験的に作曲した曲。

ですから、完成形はシンプルなポップスですが、作曲には非常に苦労しました。

また、僕の曲作りのスタイルは、まずメロディーを作り、このときすでに８割がた頭の中で完成形の音が鳴っているので、それに近づけるようにアレンジをして、一度、適当な英語詩で仮録音をします。

そして、そのあとに日本語の詩を付けるのですが、この曲には絶対に女性のコーラスが必要だと思い、しかし、友人のスケジュールの都合で録音日までに日本語の詩を作れなかったために、当初の「適当な英語詩」でそのまま録音しました。

今でも、日本語で録音し直したい曲の筆頭で、個人的には大好きな曲です。
