はじめまして、日産自動車（株）の柴田です。NissanConnectサービスのモバイルアプリケーションのエンジニアリングチーム、およびプロダクトマネジメントチームをマネージしております。日産ナカメブログを始めるにあたり、私たちがどういう思いを持っているか、何をお伝えしようと思っているかを簡単ですがご紹介したいと思います。
1933年創立の日産自動車において、私の所属している中目黒オフィスは2016年に設立された非常に若い組織で、コネクテッドカーサービス、つまり文字通り自動車とつながるサービスとそこからつながる未来を創っています。
組織は若く小さくとも、
他がやらぬことをやる
というDNAに刻み込まれた日産自動車創業以来の精神は人一倍引き継いでおり、小粒でもピリリと辛い、ユニークなアイデンティティを持ったチームです。
現在、中目黒オフィスには約50人の様々なバックグランドを持った仲間たちが働いており、UI/UXチーム、モバイルアプリケーションエンジニアリングチーム、バックエンドエンジニアリングチーム、プロダクトマネジメントチーム、プロジェクトマネジメントチーム、新規ビジネス開発チーム、新規技術開発/PoCチーム、といったチームが
人々の生活を豊かに、イノベーションをドライブし続ける
ために、日々、もがきながら、笑いながら、プロダクトやサービスを内製開発していたり、パートナーと共同開発しています。
なぜ日産ナカメブログをはじめるのか？
私たちは、2019年までは様々なイベントに登壇したりオフィスでイベントをやったりと、発信すること、交流することをとても大事にする文化をもったチームで、そこから生まれるかもしれない新たな可能性を信じていました。しかし、2020年の春頃からここで働く仲間の安心、安全を守ることが最優先のプライオリティになり、リモートワークになり、発信する機会を失い、その可能性にベットする余裕もなくなってしまっていました。昔からの仲間が新しい可能性にチャレンジしたり、新しい仲間が増えたり、顔ぶれも少し変わってきました。2021年になり、春が来て夏が来て、新しい日常なんて呼ぶにはまだ手探りですが、今までのやり方をアップデートしながら上手いやり方もわかってきました。
発信することを、交流することを、アップデートしよう
私たちの日々行っている仕事の話、職場や働き方の話、旬な技術の話、デザインの話、自動車の話、いままで話してこなかった、これなかったお話を日産ナカメブログでみなさまにお伝えできればと思っています。また、メンバーがどういう思いを持って働いているのか、何をここで実現したいと思っているのか、ユニークな仲間が多くいますので、人柄や思いなんかも伝えていきたいと思います。将来的には、中目黒オフィスのメンバーや日産自動車社内にとどまらず、社内外の方を交えてのインタビューや対談などのコンテンツもお届けしたいと密かな野望も持っております。
自動車業界は100年に1度の変革期と言われていますが、まさにその真っ只中に私たちはおり、次の100年を作っていくためには一緒に働く仲間、一緒にビジネスを行っていく仲間、一緒にビジネスを作っていく仲間、多くの仲間が必要です。
日産ナカメブログを通じて一人でも多くの仲間とつながることを楽しみにしています。

Welcome to Nissan Nakame Blog!
Hi I'm Kenjiro, Head of the engineering and product management for the NissanConnect applications. As we start the Nissan Nakame blog, I would like to briefly introduce what we are thinking and what we are going to share with you through it.
At Nissan Motor Company, founded in 1933, Nakameguro office is a very young organization established in 2016, creating connected car services - literally, services that connect to cars - and creating the future that connects on from that. Even though the organization is young and small, we have inherited the spirit of -

that has been engraved in our DNA since the founding of Nissan.
We currently have about 50 members with various backgrounds working in our Nakameguro office, including UI/UX team, mobile application engineering team, backend engineering team, product management team, project management team, new business development team, and new technology development/PoC team.
Driving innovation to enrich people's lives
In order to continue to enrich people's lives and drive innovation, we are struggling, laughing, and developing products and services in-house and with our partners.
Why start the Nissan Nakame Blog?
Until 2019, we were a team with a culture that valued communication and interaction, such as speaking at various events and holding events at the office, and we believed in the new possibilities that might arise from this. However, from the spring of 2020, the safety and security of the people working here became the top priority, and we started working remotely. Now it's 2021, spring had come and summer had gone, and while we're still not sure to call it a new normal, we're learning how to update the way we've been doing things and how to do them well.
Let's update our way of communicating and interacting!
I hope to use the Nissan Nakame blog to tell you about our daily work, our workplace, how we work, what's new in technology, design, cars, and other things we haven't talked about before. I would also like to share with you the personalities and thoughts of the members of the team, what they are working on, and what they want to achieve here, as we have many unique colleagues. In the future, I have a secret ambition to include interviews and conversations not only with members of the Nakameguro office and Nissan Motor, but also with people from inside and outside the company.
The automotive industry is said to be in the midst of a once-in-a-century period of change, and we are right in the middle of it, and in order to create the next 100 years, we need a lot of people to work with, to do business with, and to create business with.
