A tableau vivant for a Scottish action scene, notes for writing

The hero snatched the neck of the beast,
He struck with the phoenix sword against its spine,
the sword was shattered, the spine whole.
Promptly he tossed the useless cross-guard and hilt away.
The phoenix shorn of its splendid steel-feathers on the ground, clanging.
And he pulled hard at the long and beautiful mane of it; with pulsing highland's rosy-red arms like an open whale's maw wrangles the beast's naked nape, as if in a tender embrace,
The arm locked in, a kiss with sharp teeth!
then he shouted:
"Wae!" (woe), and sprung,
And the Wae now crieth: "I gae!"
Forth, O.
Forth, O!
Forth, O It died!
Then tossing back the useless maiming beast in black fur-panoply, plunging it to the earth, not even bemoaning.
the Hero saith:
"Wae, o chridhe (heart)!
It went, away aff!"
Ochón(alas), Och aye (alack)!
WEEL, then tae--
Lo! The MAN stands!
Hie-Yea!
That was Doom!!
