ode; the key held by Orc

for indeed I do not possess the key to paradise,
and to those who do, I have sent my divine gift;
I've intercepted those messengers with my thieves of flight,
and during flight unwittingly to thee my thieves had stolen the message and left my gift to God.
to each of the epistles I 've added a postscript,
for I may not subtract Creation; for that addition alone is my power,
for I can only work wonder through poisonous corruption,
thievery which I have committed through giving it out freely,
by addition. 
I am a stolen God from the Creator, endowed with my omni-impotence to do nothing,
but add more ill-fortuned numbers in my toll.

the foreseer saith:
"to each of these epistles I've attached a key to kingdom of heaven.
those who see and know my message within, shall do and become good,
and enter the paradise with the key i've hitherto attached."
and I writ:
"I am Orc, the omni-impotent, the adder. For I am God.
I possess the key to paradise not, for I have given to you. And it is yours.
With the key so attached to the message, I have sent you to kingdom of heaven.
But I do not possess the key to paradise, for it had been given out freely.
And I have only in my hand the key to Hell,
for ye have stolen the key to Heaven by my consent.
And furthermore I have given you this one postscript to add, along with the key:
Know too that each time, when ye ope a gate to seven heavens with the key
attached in my epistle to thee,
and ye may enter paradise; then I would,
ope a gate to seven hells.
and each soul that is loosened upwards by angels' haste in this earth,
and they may enter paradise,
I shall have a soul fastened downwards by my own undoing.
For I am Orc, the God in abyss, and I have sent him to Hell---
Where I am, fast under lock and key
I have given henceforth the key of paradise attached to the epistle,
and stolen a message."
know that I am Orc, and can do nothing.
but ope before thee the gate of brimming abysm under lock and key,
where I too am fast enchained 
when each time,
thou wouldst try the lock upon the gate of the paradise above,
and loosen the fast lock and key.
the jingling of the keys is the tolling of bells.

for the weak and impotent I send my gift of medicine; I cure.
for the strong and powerful my gift of illness; I poison.
for ye have the key to paradise,
and I have the key to hell,
and between ye and me,
the jingling of the bells.
