ずっと前に古書店で『不連続殺人事件』の角川文庫版（初版）を手に入れ、既に他の版で読んでいたので開かずにいたのを、さっき初めて捲ってみた。

すると、筆跡もテンションも全く違う二人の人物による「人物相関図」がパラリと床に落ちた。

I picked up the Kadokawa Bunko edition (first edition) of ``Discontinuous Murder Incidents'' at a used bookstore a long time ago, and I hadn't opened it since I had already read it in another edition, but I just flipped it open for the first time.
Then, a ``Character Chart'' of two people with completely different handwriting and moods fell to the floor.
...What on earth does that mean?
The person in the second picture has a very good expression.

discontinuous murder case
舞台は第二次世界大戦から2年が経過した1947年（昭和22年）夏、N県。県内有数の財閥・歌川多門邸で、流行作家の望月王仁が殺害される事件が発生する。兇器のナイフからは2人の女の指紋が発見され、もう一人の女のものと思われる小さな鈴が、被害者のベッド下から発見される。
The story takes place in N Prefecture in the summer of 1947, two years after World War II. At the residence of Tamon Utagawa, one of the prefecture's leading conglomerates, an incident occurs in which popular writer Wuni Mochizuki is murdered. Fingerprints of two women were found on the knife, and a small bell believed to belong to the other woman was found under the victim's bed.
