According to Naoki Shintani, the oldest document in which the characters for ``Zoni'' can be found is the Suzuka family's records of social affairs, which are the Shinto priests of Kyoto City's Yoshida Shrine and have been deeply involved in the rituals of the imperial court for generations. In the entry for New Year's Day in 1364, ``Zoni Goshu Hikata'', ``Zoni Dinner'', and ``Zoni De'' are mentioned.[3] Shintani explains that the reason why zoni became popular during the Muromachi period was due to the development of cooking utensil manufacturing methods and the spread of iron pots, which led to a wider variety of dishes such as boiled dishes.[3]

Garyo-Tensei [Garyu Tenten]

An analogy for the important finishing touches that are added at the end to complete something. It is also an analogy for the most important part of things. An analogy in which you modify the important parts of a sentence or story to make the whole thing even more appealing. ▽“睛” is the pupil/eyeball. In other words, it means the important part of something. In general, it is often used as ``garyutenteki ni ni ni'', and in this case, it means that the finishing touches are insufficient and the important parts are missing, resulting in a lackluster finish. The reading reads, ``Draw the dragon and light up Hitomi.'' "Ryu" can also be read as "ryu".
