初出は1987年にSNKからリリースされたアーケードゲーム『サイコソルジャー』で、主人公として登場した。


16歳のごく普通の女子高生だが、先天的に超能力を生まれ持っており、世界を破滅をにおいやった魔性の怪物・屍愚魔を倒すべく、太古の予言に残された光の戦士の一人として、相方の椎拳崇と共に戦う。

超能力はまだ不完全だが、歌を歌いながら戦うことで持ち前の力がより高まるという不思議な特性を持ち、変身能力で火の鳥に姿を変えることもできる。
