日本三大曳山祭（秩父夜祭）

One of the top three float festivals in Japan.（The Chichibu Night Festival）

✔県西北に広がる秩父。

Chichibu is located in the northwest of the prefecture.

✔年間４００近くの祭りが行われるという、正真正銘のお祭り好きエリア。

An authentic festival-loving area where nearly 400 festivals are held annually.

✔とくに有名なのが、京都の祇園祭、飛騨の高山祭と並ぶ日本三大曳山祭のひとつ、秩父夜祭。

The Chichibu Night Festival, which is one of the top three float festivals in Japan that is alongside the Gion Festival in Kyoto and the Takayama Festival in Hida, is especially famous.

✔最大の見どころのは、２基の傘鉾と４基の屋台が町を巡行する「曳きまわし」。

The biggest attraction is "Pulling Around", which two umbrella hooks and four stalls go around the town.

✔半纏姿の男衆に加え、傘鉾や屋台ごとに異なる飾り幕の刺繍や彫刻も必見だ。

✔ちなみに、秩父と言えば、アニメ「あの日見た花の名前を僕たちはまだ知らない。」の舞台となった場所ですよね。
