✔こんにちは。東京ヤクルトスワローズのプラチナファンクラブ会員のむさしアウルです(*^▽^*)

Hello. He's Musashi Owl from the Platinum fan club member of Tokyo Yakult Swallows. (* ^ ▽ ^ *)

✔2001年のセントラルリーグ優勝と日本一に輝いたヤクルトスワローズの監督からご紹介(*^▽^*)

Introducing the director of The Yakult Swallows who led the team to the Central League championship in 2001 and to be the best in Japan (* ^ ▽ ^ *)

✔若松勉さん。

Mr.Tsutomu Wakamatsu.

✔若松勉さんは監督として3年目のシーズンで、当時のヤクルトスワローズを4年ぶり6度目のリーグ優勝、4年ぶり5度目の日本一を成し遂げた。

In his third season as a director, Mr.Tsutomu Wakamatsu led the Yakult Swallows to the victory, there are the sixth league title in four years, and the fifth Japan championship for the first time in four years.

✔若松さんは10月6日優勝を決め胴上げされた直後のインタビューで、「ファンの皆様、本当にあの〜、あの…、おめでとうございます!」と言い間違えてしまった(*^▽^*)

In an interview shortly after Mr.Wakamatsu led the team to win the championship on October 6, he mistakenly said, "Congratulations, everybody!”.

✔本当は「ファンの皆様、ありがとうございます」と言うつもりだったらしいよ(*^▽^*)

He meant to really say, "Thank you, everybody."(*^▽^*)

✔球場内は大爆笑に包まれて和やかなムードになったのを、今でもむさしアウルは覚えています(^o^)

Musashi Owl still remembers that the stadium filled with loud laughs  and turned into a great atmosphere. (^ o ^)

✔さらにシーズン本拠地最終戦でのファンへの挨拶では「一戦、一戦、頑張りますので、オールスターでも、いや、日本シリーズでも皆様のご声援よろしくお願いします」と言ってしまい、またしても会場は大ウケとなった。

Furthermore, in the greeting for fans in the final match of the season at their home base, he said, "We will do our best, one game at the time, so please cheer for everyone, even in the All Star matches(series) , No No No, even in the whole Japanese series,"

Once again, the venue was filled with laughter.

✔もともと若松さんは現役時代からヤクルト一筋の方で、また、見た目、人柄、しゃべり方など、まさに「ヤクルトらしい」人ですね。

Originally, Mr. Wakamatsu worked as a Yaklut-only player during his active era, and his appearance,personaty and speech best fit Yakult style(image).

✔むさしアウルは、ヤクルトの今までの監督さんの中で、見た目が怖いとか、「鬼軍曹」のような人とか、見たことはないです。

Musashi Owl has never seen any of Yakult's past directors who looks scary or are like "Sergeant like demon" .

✔2020年からの高津新監督も前監督の小川さんも2015年の監督の真中さんも、みんな「ヤサモテ」だ。

The directors,  Mr.Takatsu (since 2020), the former director Mr.Ogawa(from 2016 to 2019), and the 2015 director Mr.Manaka are all "gentle looking".

✔そんな若松さんは今でも大好きですが、残念ながら、若松さんの現役時代の大活躍をリアルタイムで見たことがありません。

Musashi Owl still likes Mr. Wakamatsu, but unfortunately, he has never seen Wakamatsu's active career live (career in person).

✔しかし、若松さんは背番号1番をつけた「ミスタースワローズ」として大スターであったということは知っています。

However, he knows that Mr. Wakamatsu was a big star known as "Mr. Swallows" with the No 1.uniform .

✔次回は、若松さんの現役時代の活躍をご紹介します(*^▽^*)
