Russia has a deep culture, America has become degenerate and perverted. Things that should be private, are displayed in the open in America, people are showing off. That is simple narcissism.

People reading my blog, or watching my youtube channel, you will know that I have a deep admiration of Russia. I grew up in America, we were taught to view Russia as an enemy.

Culture is a thing that is built up over generations of history. Traditionally, Russia was founded in 862, by Rurik, a Varangian, or Swede, and since I am half Swedish, that makes me related to Russia.

America, where I was born was only created in 1776. It is still a very young nation. As a nation of immigrants, its culture was basically built up with traditions that people brought with them, that of Europe where they originated. Yet America very quickly became addicted to money. Capitalism. Very quickly, people measured their worth in terms of their material wealth.

We were taught that if you worked hard in America, you could have all these things. A boat. Barbecues. Bicycle for the children. All things. But what did it mean to be American? Well people say “Freedom”, but Americans really don’t understand what it means.

A desire for material goods does not satisfy the human soul spiritually. And many Americans did realize something was missing.

During the Vietnam war era, I was a high school student. I remember there was, as a part of the anti war protests, an effort to find something spiritual, some reason for existing beyond simply acquiring material goods.

Yet that effort has fallen apart. America has turned into a nation dominated by nasty, cruel, selfish people, intent on destroying all aspects of its history and culture.

And people seem to only care about material things.

There are people who say America never produced any serious art. I disagree. Two of my favorite American paintings.

They capture the essential loneliness of American life. And it is a lonely country. Culture binds a people together. Yet the political correctness that exists in America today drives people apart, rather than unify them.

Russia definitely does have a deep culture, that unifies the nation. I am glad for them. And having lived in Japan for 49 years, I can attest that Japan still has a unifying common culture, despite having close connections with America.

And that is why today, Japan is not embracing the madness such as transgenderism that is overtaking America.
