Legendary guitarist Jeff Beck passed away on January 10, 2023.
I first heard of him 26 years ago.
It was when I was in junior high school.
My father introduced me to Jeff and I was hooked.
I was bullied in elementary school, and after that I had a hard time socializing with others.
I was always alone and every day was lonely.
He was the one who taught me how to live a "Rock" life.
His enthusiastic, innovative, and influential guitar playing moved me and changed my life.
My life is richer for having met him.
I love guitar and I love music.
I don't think I would have thought so had I not met him.
I am proud to have lived in the same era as you.
Thank you.
And rest in peace.
2023年1月10日に生涯を終えた伝説のギタリスト"Jeff Beck"。
私が彼を初めて知ったのは26年前。
私が中学生になった頃です。
父の影響でJeffの存在を知り、私は彼の虜になりました。
私は小学校の時にいじめに遭っていて、それ以降人付き合いが苦手になり、中学に行っても友達が居ませんでした。
いつも1人で毎日が孤独だった。
そんな私に"Rock"な生き方を教えてくれたのが彼でした。
熱狂的で革新的で影響力のある彼のギタープレイは私の心を動かし、私の人生を変えた。
彼に出会ったことで私の人生は豊かになりました。
私はギターが好きで音楽が好きです。
彼と出会っていなければそうは思ってなかったと思います。
あなたと同じ時代を生きれたことを誇りに思います。
