こんにちは！Koutaです。
僕は愛知県に住んでいるお笑い好きの中学三年生です！！(特に陣内さんが好きです）
中学生の日常では触れる機会が少ない“貧困”を僕と同じ年代(特に高校生や中学生！）の人にも興味を持ってもらえるような記事を作っていきます！！
第1回目の記事は、なぜ貧困について興味を持ったのか、その中でもなぜフィリピンの貧困についてなのかについて書いていきたいと思います。

Hello! I’m Kouta, junior high school student in Japan!! In junior high school student’s life, there is only few opportunity to expose to “Poverty” .
And I want to do my best to make them interest in “Poverty”. In this article I will write about why I’m interested in poverty!!

なぜ“貧困”に関して記事を書こうと思ったのか、それは……

とあるニュースを見たからです。

ある日、僕はニュースで「ハッピーランド（＊1）」についてやっていたのを見ました。

（＊1）ハッピーランド＝フィリピンの首都マニラ、トンド地区にあるスラム

そしてニュースで

「毎日ゴミを拾ってそれを売ることで、生活するためにお金を得ている」
「ゴミをあさり、捨ててあった鶏肉や豚肉を焼いて売ったり、食べたりしている」

と聞き、とても驚きました。
このニュースがきっかけで自分にも何かできることはないかと考え始めたのです。

興味を持ったきっかけがフィリピンの
ハッピーランドだったこともあり、特にフィリピンの貧困層に強い気持ちを持っています。
貧困層の人たちに何をできるかを考えたとき、

“貧困層について気付いてもらい興味を持ってもらうことが第一”だと気づき、僕（中・高生）の世代を中心に興味を持ってもらうために記事を書こうと思いました。

I think to write about poverty because...

Why I thought I want to write about poverty, it’s because I saw some news on TV. I saw a news of “happy land（*1）”by coincidence. In that news I saw the person

“who gather garbages to earn money to live and pick up abandoned meat to sell and eat.”

Through this news I started to think I want to do something for the people of poverty. I have strong feeling in Philippine’s poverty because the interests started from there.
I think to make realize and interests is the most important things that I can do for the people .
Also that is why I started thinking to write article.

次回は貧困とは何かと自分の考えを書いてきます。現地の人にインタビューもしたので第6回に記載します！
