I like Japanese sweets called ‘Kisetsu no Kasane’. They are inspired by ‘Kasane no Irome’ which is one of culture which nobles in the Heian period enjoyed. It means layering colors express seasonal landscape.
They made with a variety of vegetables and fruits paste. You can taste and smell the flavors and aromas of each vegetables and fruits, and they have refined sweetness, they are so delicious.
It’s truly sweets to be enjoyed with all five senses!
