降る、そして晴れる　Rain and then clear

春が過ぎて夏が来る前に梅雨がある。日本には四季があるが梅雨は夏でいいのだろうか、ふと思い調べてみると夏の季語らしいです。梅雨が夏の訪れを告げいているということなのでしょうか。

There is a rainy season before spring and summer comes. There are four seasons in Japan, but I thought that the rainy season is good for summer. Does the rainy season signal the arrival of summer?

晴れている方が気分がいいのは間違いがない。雨の日は気が滅入るという人は多いのではないでしょうか。それでも雨の日は写真を撮りたくなってしまいます。

There is no doubt that it feels better when it is sunny. Many people feel depressed on a rainy day. Still, on rainy days I still want to take a picture.

雨に濡れる花を撮ったり、水滴をクローズアップしたり、水溜りを撮ったりしています。雨に濡れながら写真を撮っています。雨の日は暗いので難しいと思うこともあります。撮ってから、こんなに暗かったかなという失敗を何度も繰り返しています。雨の日はフルオートで設定は気にせず撮影するのもいいと思います。

I shoot flowers that get wet in the rain, close up water drops, and take pictures of water pools. I'm taking pictures while getting wet. It can be difficult on rainy days because it is dark. Since taking the picture, I have repeatedly made mistakes such that it was so dark. On rainy days, I think it's good to shoot with full auto without worrying about the settings.

部屋の中から雨に濡れる風景を見ているのもお気に入りなんですけれどね。雨が上がり、雲の隙間から青空と太陽の光が差し込んんで来る瞬間を待ちながら。

I like watching the scenery get wet from the room, though. Waiting for the moment when the rain rises and the blue sky and the sunlight shine through the gaps in the clouds.
