伝える　Feel the atmosphere

写真で何を伝えたいか、そもそも何を伝えることができるのかと考えています。綺麗な風景や花、大切な人の笑顔など様々なものが思い浮かびます。そしてその場の雰囲気を伝えたいと思っています。それは撮りたいものを意識するだけではなく、背景に何を置くのかや背景のボカし方を考えることで伝えられないかと工夫をしています。

I am wondering what I want to convey in the picture and what I can convey in the first place. I can think of various things such as beautiful scenery, flowers, and smiles of loved ones. And I want to convey the atmosphere of the place. I'm trying not only to be aware of what I want to shoot, but also to think about what to put in the background and how to blur the background so that it can be conveyed.

カメラの性能が向上し、高精細な写真を撮影することができるようになりました。それと共に写真を編集するソフトの機能も向上しています。見たままの景色を正確に再現するためにカメラの機能がアップしたはずがソフトで編集されるようになりました。明るさやコントラストだけでなく、景色の切りはりができます。それを否定はしません。自分でも利用しています。面白いですからね。でもそうやって編集することで実際にカメラを構えてシャッターを切った時に思ったものと遠ざかっていないかと考えたりもします。

これは初めて購入したデジカメです。もう動かないかと諦めていましたが何度か電源を入れ直していると起動しました。タイトルの写真はこのカメラで撮影したものです。３５万画素です。粗いです。でも高精細な写真が流行る、そして当たり前ないま、面白いですね。景色の再現性ということを考えれば全くダメと言っても良いでしょう。でもこういう粗い写真だからこそ伝えられるものがあるのではないでしょうか。何を撮影するかも考えれば粗い表現を効果的に利用する事もできるはずです。
