Today's weather was also great. I grabbed a flat white at the cafe in my hotel and went to the park with it. The wind was a bit cold, but the sunshine warmed me. I chilled out there for a while.

I was going to do the PC work in my room. But I thought I should go outside because of such nice weather. Then I went to the Tauranga city library. It was huge, clean and good vibes! I really loved it. It is a public library, so it's absolutely free.
I had stayed there for five hours. I read two books about Kaikoura. One of them was about the Kaikoura earthquake in 2016. It was a kind of photo book. The earthquake seemed really terrible… So many roads, cliffs and shorelines were broken or lifted about 2m. It happened at midnight, so most people were in their houses. If it happened in the daytime, there could be more injuries.
Another book was about the history of Kaikoura. It was a bit big, so I couldn't read all of it.
I also revised my English diary using ChatGPT. This was incredibly useful.

After that, I took a walk along the stream in the city. There were a lot of birds. I'm eager to take photos of them! During the walk, I called the Sakimoto Japanese Bistro to make a takeaway order. Actually, it was my first time to order something via phone. I used to take phone orders in my past workplace as a staff member. But I hadn't ordered by myself. I ordered a Tonkatsu pork box. Seriously, it was amazing. I think it should be good even in Japan. I was very satisfied.

スカッとした青空が気持ちいい朝！
思わず一回のカフェでコーヒー買って目の前の公園のベンチでチル。まだ風が少し冷たいけど太陽が出てれば大丈夫なくらい！気持ち良すぎたので明日も天気良かったらしよかな。

今日はなんとなくインドアなことをしようかと思ったけどこの天気で部屋にいるのもやっぱりもったいなく感じて、と同時にルーム清掃も始まって落ち着かんから結局外に出ることに。ここで思いついたのが図書館！街の図書館に行くのが結構好きなのです。
調べるとめちゃくちゃいい感じの場所を見つけたので直行。そして実際めちゃくちゃ良かった。オシャレ！キレイ！でかい！賑わってる！快適！公立やからタダ！何も言うことがない図書館やったな〜。これも近くにあったら入り浸る感じの場所。会議室や集中ルームも完備されてて学生はもちろん社会人や親子もめっちゃ多かった。素晴らしい！！
気付いたら5時間くらい滞在してた。最初はカイコウラに関する本を2冊読んで、その後はこれまでの英語日記の添削をChatGPTさんにやってもらったり昨日撮った写真の整理をしたり。

お腹が減ってきたので追い込みの散歩を挟んで帰宅する。道中昨日教えてもらったSakimotoというジャパレスに電話してお弁当を注文。今日は豚カツをチョイス！これも自分の家ではやらんからね。しかしこのお弁当も素晴らし過ぎた。品数も多いし何より一品一品がホンマに美味い。めちゃめちゃちゃんとした和食やった幸せ…$40したけど全く後悔がないむしろその価値はあった。ワンチャンあと一回食べるかも！
何気に自分で電話注文したのも初めてやったけど、これまで散々電話注文を受けてきただけあって問題なくできた。これもまた一つの経験になったなー、電話へのハードルどんどん下がってます。

明日はなんとニセコリユニオンin New Zealand! 時期は違うけどニセコ留学を卒業した子がチャーチにいていろいろ情報交換をしていたのでこの機会に遊びに行くことにー楽しみ！明日も満喫だ
