英語日記#25 マクドナルドの凄いところ3選について

おはようございます！今日お休みですが間違ってジムの予約を入れてしまったので、ジムに向かってます！今日は下半身を追い込みたいと思います。

good morning!  Today is my day off, but I accidentally booked a gym appointment, so I'm heading to the gym!  I would like to push the lower body

今日は、私がいつも感動しているマクドナルドについてお話したいと思います。さっき文章書いていたのに消えてしまいひどく落ち込んでおります。マクドナルドの特に凄いなーと思う点について3つほど紹介したいと思います。

Today, I would like to talk about McDonald's, which always impresses me.  I was writing a sentence earlier, but it disappeared and I'm terribly depressed.  I would like to introduce three things that I think are particularly amazing about McDonald's.

①いつ頼んでも10分以内に商品が出てくる
混んでいる場合もありますが、混んでいても長くて10分程度だと私は感じます。さらに凄いのが、どこの店舗に行っても変わらない事です。相当なマニュアル化がされており、どんなスタッフが入っても安定したクオリティを出せるようになっていると類推しています。グローバルだからこそ、誰でもわかるようにマニュアル化していると思いますが、外国の方もスムーズに働けるマニュアルを徹底的に作っていると考えると本当に凄いなと思います。だからこそ、従業員が無駄なく動き、早い商品提供ができるのだと思います。

① No matter when you order, the product will come out within 10 minutes
 Sometimes it's crowded, but I feel that even if it's crowded, it's about 10 minutes long.  Even more amazing is that it doesn't change no matter which store you go to.  A considerable amount of manuals have been put in place, and I can infer that stable quality can be produced no matter what kind of staff is involved.  Because it is a global company, I think that it is a manual that anyone can understand.  I think that's why our employees can work without waste and we can provide products quickly.

②商品購入、お渡し方法があらゆる形で対応
例えば、オーダーについてもモバイルオーダーに対応していて、レジに並ばなくても決済が可能となっております。また、そのオーダーのタイミングを工夫することにより、自分のタイミングで受け取りができます。その他にも自宅への配達もしてくれるし、店舗の中で有れば店員さんがテーブルまで運んでくれたりもします。
今我々が食べている店舗でここまで対応してくれる飲食店があるでしょうか？多分マックだけだと思います。それくらい顧客目線な商品開発をしていると思います。また、スケールがあるからこそ、アプリの開発もすぐできてしまうのだと思います。　

② Product purchase and delivery methods are available in all forms
 For example, orders are also compatible with mobile orders, and payments can be made without lining up at the cash register.  Also, by devising the timing of the order, you can receive it at your own timing.  In addition, they will deliver to your home, and if you have it in the store, the clerk will bring it to your table.
 Is there a restaurant that we are eating at now that will support us so far?  I'm guessing it's Mac only.  I think that's how much customer-oriented product development is done.  Also, I think that it is precisely because of the scale that it is possible to develop applications quickly.

③季節メニューや朝マックなどのメニューのバリエーションが豊富

オペレーションを徹底しているからこそ、新商品への対応が本来難しいはずですが、毎年ユニークな商品開発をしていると思います。そして、その商品をなんの問題もなく、現場で対応しており、素晴らしいなと思います。つまり新商品でもスタッフが困らないように丁寧なレクチャーやマニュアルがあり、スタッフが淡々と作業ができるように設計していると思います。ここが凄さです。お客様に選んで頂ける新商品を考えるだけでなく、現場で対応できる商品を考えて作っているため、その両極の視点が見事だなーと私は思います。それでいてあの旨さ！
感嘆の一言です。

③ Rich variety of menus such as seasonal menus and morning Mac

 It should be difficult to respond to new products precisely because of our thorough operations, but I believe that we are developing unique products every year.  And I think it's wonderful that the product is handled on-site without any problems.  In other words, even for new products, there are detailed lectures and manuals so that the staff will not be troubled, and I think that it is designed so that the staff can work calmly.  This is the amazing thing.  We not only think about new products that customers will choose, but also consider and create products that can be handled on site.  Still that deliciousness!
 Just a word of admiration.


高い値段を出してフランス料理やイタリアンを食べるのも最高に美味いです。しかし、マクドナルドは、値段を抑えて高いクオリティをどこ行っても当たり前のように同じに提供します。これが凄すぎて、逆に怖いです。

It's also delicious to eat French and Italian food at a high price.  However, McDonald's offers the same high quality at low prices as a matter of course.  This is so awesome, it's scary.

ビジネスとして学ぶことが詰まっているなーと思いました。

I thought there was a lot to learn as a business.
