アメリカ、フィラデルフィア州にあるDouble Nickel Brewing Co.から、Hazy IPAの紹介です。中々アルコール感も強い(7.1%!)、かつアザッカやシトラと言った種類のホップがきちんと香る、ジューシーなビールでした。Nice αnd Chewy。

Coming in at 7.1%, Ripe starts off with a thick base thanks to the addition of oats and rolled oats in the mash to get it nice and chewy. It then gets dialed up to an 11 with a huge double dry-hopping of some of our favorite fruit-forward hops, Azacca and Citra, giving it intense notes of ruby grapefruit, tangerine, and peach. And then instead of just the hops providing all the juiciness, we added heaps of grapefruit to this grapefruit behemoth during fermentation to really make it sing. Grapefruit Ripe is tart, hoppy, juicy, and an absolute crusher.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

こちらは実際に出向いて、タップルームでいくつか飲んだりした後に、お土産として買って帰ったものです。
タップルームでも3種のHazy IPAがラインナップされていたり、サワー、ラガー、スタウトなど多くの種類のビールを常備していて、規模も中々大きく外に芝生のエリアやベンチもありそこで飲んだりもできたりと、賑わっているブリュワリーでした。

訪問した時は夜閉店間際という事もあり人数は少なかったですが、それでもまだ数グループが友人たちとビールを楽しんでいました。

ウェブページでも割とEthosを打ち出していて、パッションがあっていいですね。
あと単純にどれも美味しいです。
