2022.1.22《今日の聖書》詩篇
一つのことを私は【主】に願った。それを私は求めている。私のいのちの日の限り【主】の家に住むことを。【主】の麗しさに目を注ぎその宮で思いを巡らすために。
主と共に過ごすことがすべてだとダビデが謳っています。人に裏切られても、神に見捨てられるよりはましである。財産を失っても、神様を見失うよりはましである。たとえ病の中にあったとしても、神様のみ旨を疑うよりはましである。ダビデは大きな過ちを犯しましたが、神にも人にも愛される人となったのです。それは、いつも主を前に置いたからです。
今日も、主の前で祈ることができますように・・・。

One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.
David says that spending time with the Lord is everything. Betrayed by man is better than being abandoned by God. Losing property is better than losing sight of God. Even if you are sick, it is better than doubting God's will. David made a big mistake, but he was loved by both God and man. That is because he had set the Lord always before him.
May you pray in front of the Lord today as well.
