Smartphone Wallpaper - Sea Jelly

Two months ago, in order to celebrate my second nephew's birthday, my younger sister was considering where to take him for a day trip. He turned 3 years old this year so the choices were either Singapore Zoo, River Safari or S.E.A. Aquarium. The birthday boy chose S.E.A. Aquarium at Sentosa, which was a good choice and provide relief for my sister as it was raining almost everyday during that time; thus making outdoor trips to Singapore Zoo or River Safari less enjoyable under the wet weather.

Accompanying my nephew and sister are my mother and I, a group of four. I decided to join them because it might have been a good idea to take a break from work once in a while.

S.E.A. Aquarium is located on Sentosa Island which is a stone's throw away from mainland Singapore; accessible either by bus, car, light rail or cable car which we rode from Harbour Front. Of course, walking is also an option if one enjoys the humidity under the hot sun or rain. The aquarium houses a wide variety of marine life such coral fishes, dolphins, eels, rays, sharks etc. What attracts me most would be the sea jelly (or jellyfish) because how they move under multi-coloured lights is just too mesmerising for me. It was kind of trippy and psychedelic.

Most of the photos taken from this little excursion are made up of sea jelly, as the image quality of other marine animals are not good due to the low-light atmosphere inside the aquarium. Here are some photos which I have taken and cropped to be shared with everyone.

Thank you for viewing and have a great weekend!
