for fear that(idiom):It means you prepare to something.Because you don’t want to feel bad if you get a any happens.

eg:1)I told her in the morning for fear that her would be late class.

eg:2)He left home early today for fear that he would miss the train.

※similar idiom is ”in cease , so that~not・・”.

eg:)I wear the wool beanie today in case of cold my ears.

eg:)She ate a lot in the morning so that wouldn’t hungry early.
