翻訳する動画自体は古いものです。
ゼレンスキーは大統領となる以前は役者・コメディアンであり、ユダヤ人オリガルヒのイーホル・コロモイスキーが所有する1+1というテレビ局の『国民の僕』というドラマで一市民から大統領となる役を演じていました。
この番組は大流行し、実際に彼は国民の僕という政党から議員となり、大統領となることを勝ち取りました。
この結果だけ見てもテレビが大衆に対して如何に大きな力を持っているかがよくわかると思います。
チャンネルは、ラジオ・フリー・ヨーロッパ／ラジオ・リバティといいます。聞いたことのない人にはヨーロッパのメディアのように感じるかもしれませんが、ヨーロッパで展開されているアメリカ政府が運営するメディアです。
それでは動画の翻訳をどうぞ。
ウクライナの俳優ヴォルディミル・ゼレンスキーは、このテレビ番組で大統領を演じて名声を得たが、この番組は彼の実際の大統領選挙キャンペーンを支援する人物が所有するチャンネルで放送されています。
ビリオネア（億万長者）のイーホル・コロモイスキーは、ゼレンスキーに警備、弁護士、車を提供しています。彼のボディーガードがゼレンスキーの選挙戦に同行しました。ゼレンスキーが使っている車は、コロモイスキーの会社が所有する会社のものでした。そして、コロモイスキーの弁護士は現在、ゼレンスキーの選挙運動のために働いています。

――ゼレンスキー：「プリヴァト銀行は現在国家機関だ、なぜコロモイスキーに返さなければならないのです？」
コロモイスキー自身、2014年に生まれ故郷のドニプロペトロフスク州の知事となり、短期間公職に就いたことがある。
大規模な抗議デモがウクライナのクレムリン寄りの大統領ヴィクトル・ヤヌコーヴィチを倒した直後のことだった。
マイダン革命によりロシアに亡命した
2022年12月の裁判によりウクライナの全財産を押収され国有化されている
――コロモイスキー：「我々はヨーロッパに向かっている。国に必要なすべての改革を望んでいる。改革によって、この国を立法的にも行政的にもヨーロッパ諸国のようにしなければならない。」
数カ月もしないうちに、コロモイスキーはウクライナ東部の近隣地域を掌握したロシアに支援された分離主義者と戦うボランティア部隊に資金を提供する手助けをしました。彼は彼らの進出を防いだと評価されているが、私兵も作っていたと批判されています。
2015年3月19日、武装した男たちがキーウにある国営石油会社のオフィスを占拠しました。コロモイスキーはウクルトランスナフタと呼ばれる会社の影響力をめぐる争いに巻き込まれていました。彼がビルから出てきたとき、RFE/RLの記者がそこで何をしていたのかと尋ねました。
――コロモイスキー：「なぜウクルトランスナフタの敵対的買収について尋ねない？ロシアの妨害工作員がウクルトランスナフタに侵入したことも？なぜそのことを聞かない？それともコロモイスキーを捕まえようとしているだけか？」
数日後、ポロシェンコ大統領はコロモイスキーが辞任を申し出たため、彼を知事から解任しました。コロモイスキーは事業活動を続け、後にスイスに移住しました。
ゼレンスキーは2018年2月、コロモイスキーの誕生日パーティーに出席するためジュネーブを訪れました。
2019年4月、RFE/RLはコロモイスキーにゼレンスキーとの関係について尋ねました。
――コロモイスキー：「ゼレンスキーとの面会についてだが、彼は昨年ジュネーブでの私の誕生日パーティーに出席していた。」
――RFE/RL：「彼に会ったのはそれが最後ですか？」
――コロモイスキー：「そうだと思うが・・・まあ、（彼に）会ったかもしれん。警察官みたいな尋問だから、緊張してきたよ。彼に出くわしたかもしれない。」
しかし、フライト記録を調べてみると、その誕生パーティの後、ゼレンスキーはさらに10回ジュネーブに飛んでいることがわかりました。さらに、コロモイスキーがイスラエルに移住した後、ゼレンスキーはテルアビブに3回飛んでいる。2018年10月から12月にかけてです。2人がこれらの機会に会ったかどうかは定かではありません。
2人の関係は仕事上のもので、ゼレンスキーのテレビの仕事に基づいていると主張しています。政治家志望者は政治的な関係ではないと言います。
Ukrainian actor Voldymyr Zelensky has achieved fame portraying a president in this TV show, which is broadcast on a channel owned by a man backing his real-life presidential campaign.
Billionaire Ihor Kolomoysky has provided security, lawyers, and vehicles for Zelensky.
His bodyguard accompanied Zelensky on the campaign trail.
The cars Zelensky uses belongs to a company owned by one of Kolomoisky's companies.
And kolomoisky's lawyer is now working for Zelensky's campaign.
When the results of the first round of the election became clear on March 31st, President Petro Poroshenko did not mince his words.
"Fate intended to put me together with Kolomoysky's puppet in the second round of the elections. I'm not shy about saying this."
Kolomoisky filmed here in Switzerland in 2018, is an arch foe of Poroshenko -- and one of the richest men in Ukraine, with holdings in the metal, petroleum, and media sectors.
He set up PrivatBank in the 1990s, which quickly grew to be one of the biggest financial institutions in Ukraine.
But in 2016 Poroshenko's government seized control of PrivatBank, claiming that billions of dollars were embezzled from it.
Kolomoysky denies any wrongdoing and is fighting in court to get PrivatBank Back.
RFE/RL recorded an off-camera interview with Zelensky about the issue.
"Do you support either compensating Ihor Kolomoysky for PrivatBank, or returning it to him?"
"I don't care about Ihor Kolomoysky. They need to investigate…"
"What about PrivatBank?"
"PrivatBank is currently a state institution Why should it be returned to Kolomoysky?"
Kolomoysky has, himself, briefly held public office, becoming governor of his native Dnipropetrovsk region in 2014.
It was shortly after mass protests toppled Ukraine's Kremlin-friendly presidents, Viktor Yanukovych.
"We're heading for Europe. We want all the reforms that the country needs."
"We must, with reforms, make the country legislatively and administratively like European countries."
Within months, kolomoysky was helping to finance volunteer units to fight against Russia-backed separatists who had seized control in nearby regions of eastern Ukraine.
He was credited with helping to prevent them from advancing into his region, but critics suggested he was also building a private army.
On march 19th, 2015, armed men occupied the offices of a state-owned oil company in Kviv.
Kolomoysky was involved in a struggle for influence at the company, called Ukrtransnafta.
when he emerged from the building an RFE/RL journalists asked what he was doing there.
"Why aren't you asking about the hostile takeover of Ukrtransnafta?"
"And that Russian saboteurs have got inside? Why aren't you asking about this?"
"Or are you just fucking trying to get Kolomoysky?"
Days later President Poroshenko dismissed him as governor after Kolomoysky offered to step down.
Kolomoysky continued his business activities, later moving to Switzerland.
Zelensky traveled to Geneva in February 2018 to attend kolomoisky's birthday party.
In April 2019, RFE/RL asked Kolomoysky about his ties with Zelensky.
"Regarding my meetings with Zelensky, he was at my birthday party in Geneva last year."
"Was that the last time you saw him?"
"Yes I think so… well, I might have [met him]."
"You're interrogating me like a policeman so I am starting to get nervous."
"I might have run into him, the devil only knows."
But by checking flight records, RFE/RL discovered that after that birthday party, Zelensky flew to Geneva another 10 times.
Furthermore, after Kolomoysky moved to Israel, Zelensky flew to Tel Aviv three
times, between October and December 2018.
it's not clear if the two men met on these occasions.
they both insist their relationship is professional and based on Zelensky's TV work.
The aspiring politician says it's not political.
