This morning, I found myself pondering the question: Why do you want to get married?

"Can you prepare for us to live together? You're starting your job this April, so you must be extremely busy, and I'm wondering if you can manage it," said my love. Her words left me uncertain about whether I could save enough money and handle the multitude of tasks ahead. Nevertheless, I love her deeply and will do my utmost to prepare for our life together.

Her words also sparked the question: Why do people get married, and when is the right time to do so? I want to marry her eventually, but what does marriage bring to me? My financial insecurities make it difficult to choose the right moment to propose. Achieving financial independence is essential for us to start our life together.
