Why do you study? - Jan. 24, 2024.

Why do you study? Is it for interest, just for fun, to get a promotion at your job, or because your parents and company force you to do so? Haha. For me, it's about resolving my concerns about the unknown. I'll be using English in my sales role starting this April, so I'm studying it more diligently than before. Also, speaking Chinese would be beneficial for business trips to China, so I plan to resume studying it. I'm not great at handling brand-new situations as they make me upset and a bit nervous. I believe studying helps me avoid the worst-case scenarios. If I can speak not only English but also Chinese, I can express my feelings and opinions more effectively and at least avoid damaging relationships with clients.

Lately, I’ve been worried about my future with my love because living together requires deep consideration of financial issues. However, I haven't studied this area, and it feels like I'm battling something bigger than myself. When facing my fears and uncertainties, I need to understand what causes these feelings. My analysis leads me to the conclusion that I must grasp a general understanding of financial knowledge for life, so I will study for the Financial Planner test. It will help resolve my uncertainties.

Studying practical issues is both fun and challenging. I sometimes regret neglecting financial matters. It's never too late, but it's also better late than never.
