We're allowed to drink together - Sep. 23, 2023

I had a beer with my mom and dad tonight. We had Budvar from the Czech Republic and Echigo Pilsner from Niigata, Japan. Budvar goes down smoothly. Echigo beer has a taste that falls between rich and light. It's interesting to compare these two beers and distinguish the differences between them. I suddenly felt like I've truly become an adult, now that we're finally allowed to drink. I enjoy drinking, but I enjoy it even more when I'm with the people I love.

My parents aren't really big drinkers, especially my dad. His face turns red and he gets tipsy easily after just one cup of beer. My little sister is coming back home tomorrow, so I want to have a drink with the whole family.
