The answers are...

Italian: Broccoli and of course, pizza!

French: Baguette! Did you also know that the word for 箸 in French is.... baguette? So be careful when buying bread or chopsticks next time you go to France...

Spanish: Chocolate, caramel and potato. If you like junk food, this one's for you...

Greek: Pitta. It is a small flat bread filled with many delicious Mediterranean foods (olives, tomatoes, feta cheese...). Yummy!

Dutch: Gherkin and cookie. The Dutch usually like sweets and fried foods. Cookie is originally from the Dutch word "koekje". Don't choke on either of those :D

Portuguese: Marmalade. On bread, this one's a popular food in European breakfast!

Russia: Pavlova. This dessert came from the name of a famous Russian ballerina, Anna Pavlova.

Turkish: Yoghurt! As surprising as it seems, yoghurt originated in the Caucasus region.

German: Pretzel and... Hamburger! Yes, think twice the next time you go to McDonald's. Hamburgers originated in the city of Hamburg, Germany!
