選挙の前に言っておきたいこと　What I want to say before the election

次の選挙から日本が大きな選択ミスをして世界から取り残され皆が貧しくなるシナリオが予想される。

I foresee a scenario in which Japan makes a big mistake in the next election and is left behind in the world and everyone becomes poorer.

一つ目の大きな過ちにより、日本はこれ以上選択ミスができない状態である。石炭による火力発電の普及をしようとしたことだ。

The first major mistake has left Japan in a position where it cannot make any more selective mistakes. The first was to try to promote coal-fired power generation.

次に自動車産業を守るという大きな選択ミスをすることで、日本は取り返しがつかない状態に陥るだろう。

By making the next big mistake of protecting the auto industry, Japan will be in an irreversible situation.

自動車産業は守るべきではないと筆者は強く断言する。

The author strongly asserts that the automobile industry should not be protected.

水素ステーションを世界的に普及させることは不可能だ。ならば国内だけでもと考えるかもしれないがそれは大きな過ちである。

It is impossible to spread the use of hydrogen stations around the world. You might think that it would be possible only in Japan, but that would be a big mistake.

それは日本を孤立させる事になり、自動車産業の為に日本人全てを犠牲にするという事だ。

That would mean isolating Japan and sacrificing all Japanese people for the sake of the auto industry.

次の選挙では自動車産業と深くつながっている議員を当選させてはならない。

In the next election, we must not elect legislators who are deeply connected to the auto industry.

彼らは日本人全てを犠牲にして自動車産業を守ろうとするだろうからだ。

They will try to protect the auto industry at the expense of all Japanese.

賢明な読者には次の選挙が日本の未来を左右する大事な選挙だという事を理解し、誰に投票するかを考えて頂きたい。
