京都薪能：2024年4月25日（木）
京都市では，毎日どこかで祭事，神事，および，さまざまな文化に関係するイベントが行われている。コロナ禍では，こうした関連イベントがいっさい中止になってしまったわけであるが，今ではそれらのほとんどが再開され，毎日が「おまつり」である。
6月1日（土）と2日（日）の2日間，京都市の平安神宮において，京都市と京都能楽会が主催する第73回京都薪能（たきぎのう）「光源氏の夢」が開催される予定である。京都薪能は，奈良の薪御能（たきぎおのう）を倣って，1950（昭和25）年以降開催されている。京都薪能は室内ではなく，野外の能舞台で観世・金剛・大蔵の各流派の能や狂言を観ることができる。
これに先立って，5月4日（土）には京都市北区のイオンモール北大路で，5月11日（土）に京都市役所前広場で「京都薪能プレ公演」が開催される。ちなみに，こちらは事前申し込みも必要なく無料で観ることができる。いずれも午前11時からの部と午後2時からの部の２回である。
Kyoto Takigi-Noh：April 25th (Thursday)
Every day in Kyoto, there are festivals, rituals, and various cultural events taking place somewhere in the city. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of these related events were completely canceled, but now most of them have resumed, and every day feels like a festival.
On June 1st (Saturday) and 2nd (Sunday), the 73rd Kyoto Takigi-Noh, "The Dream of Genji," organized by the City of Kyoto and the Kyoto Nohgaku, is scheduled to be held at the Heian Shrine in Kyoto for two days. Kyoto Takigi-Noh, following the example of Nara's Takigi-Onoh, has been held since 1950 (Showa 25). Unlike indoor performances, Kyoto Takigi-Noh allows you to watch Noh and Kyogen performances of the Kanze, Kongoh, and Okura schools outdoors on a Noh stage.
Preceding this, on May 4th (Saturday), at the Aeon Mall Kitaoji in Kyoto's Kita Ward, and on May 11th (Saturday) at the Kyoto City Hall Front Square, a "Kyoto Takigi-Noh Pre-performance" will be held. By the way, you can watch these performances for free without prior registration. There will be two performances, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
