Q1. What made you start collecting books?

When I was studying photography (in 1997), in a natural way, I started to collect photobooks of my favorites photographers (of course there was not internet at that time), and with the time I discovered that I din’t want just a book of a photographer that I like, I wanted a photobook that I like, I felt in love of the books themselves.

Q7. Are there any inspire person or blog for choose the books?

I think that “cuatrocuerpos.com”, so far, is the best blog about photobook in Spanish.
There is also a lot of information in the websites of some shops online, actually, when I look for information in internet I end in an olnline shop. Nowdays the bookshope are the most actives to spread the knowlodge of the photobook.
I try to go to the photobook events that I can, in Megutama, im photography groups/associations/schools/museums, or photobook clubs activities (photobookclub.org).
I also get lot information from Instagram, I follow many photobook collectors, so I can see what’s going on. Actually, I also post my photobooks finds in instagram as #photobookfinder

Q8. Have you ever missed opportunity buy the books?

Sure!, many times!, but I didn’t have the money or the kwnoledge to understand it.
For instance, I lost the chance to buy Kamaytachi of Eiko Hosoe in 2005, but I could got it in the PND of Osaka in 2017.

Q9. There are someone who doesn't want to be a holder in the world. What the most attractive to hold books for you?

Everybody should collect something, it make your life better.

Q10. Please give me a comment.

The photobook world have been developed a lot this last years, but there are still a lot of things to do, for instance, the book’s collectors doesn’t have an online website like the music record’s collector have. My friend that collect music records can use web like “discogs”, he can look for any kind of music record, and also he can chat with others collectors, even buy or sell his own records. If some website programmer is reading this, you should know that there is a lot of things to do with books in the internet.
 Long live to Flotsam books!
