子どもの輝きってホントに眩しいよねって話。A Million Dreams
ちょっと前に、見た映画、
「The Greatest Showman／グレイテスト・ショーマン」
歌も歌えるウルヴァリンこと、ヒュー・ジャックマン主演のミュージカルですが、この作中に出てくる歌の中に、「A Million Dreams」という歌があるのですが、この曲がなんかいいんです。

あぁ・・・なんで子どもたちってこんなに輝いてるんだろー。
ってなる動画です。
また歌詞もすごく共感できることが多かったので、それをシェアしたいと思います。
いろんな夢や、やりたいことでワクワクして寝れないことって誰もが経験することですよね？
子どもの頃だけでなく、今でもたまにそうなることはあります。
アレしてみたい！これに挑戦してみたい！
ってなると全然寝れなかったりします。
寝なきゃ。。って思うのとは裏腹に頭のなかはフルスピードで回転している。あの感覚。。なくしたくないなー。これは。。
ということで、歌詞の日本語訳してみました。
意訳も結構いれてます。
タイトルから難しいですよね。。。
ミリオンをどう訳すか？直訳は１００万ですが、英語ではミリオンは１００万という意味だけでなく、「無数・数えきれないほどの数・たくさん」という意味も込められています。
なので今回はあえて、A million dreamsを「数えきれない夢」と訳しました。
