Webサイトを新聞の記事のようにレイアウトしてくれる「Paper.li」が終わる。

Paper.liチームは2023年03月2日に、2023年04月20日をもって、13年の歴史を閉じ、Paper.liを廃止すると報告してきた。

アイディアは当時面白かったが、新聞読者が減り続けた。

私は、スタートと共に参加してきた。

できれば、基本的な考えをそのままで、ダダイズムのように、綺麗なデザインのポスターやチャートができると面白い。

アップルは、写真を誰が撮っても綺麗な写真にできるようにフィルターやエフェクターを組み合わせるのに成功したが、デザインはまだ完成していない。

それこそがダダイズムある。ダダイズムには大きく分けて、スイスのヘルベチカと、ドイツ・ダダイズムがある。
とくに、スイスは、ノイエハウスグロテスクをヘルベチカとしてタイポグラフィーで成功している。

ドイツは、私が今協力している世界最大の統計調査データプラットフォームでドイツのインフォグラフィクスを紹介しているハンブルク(Stadt Hamburg)にあるStatista GmbHが、典型的なアイコンデザインやチャートデザインで採用してる。

この2つを現代風に置き換えると、完成できる。

私たちが挑戦した本阿弥光悦の連綿書体で採用したように、文字をフォントにするのではなく、絵にすることでかなり面白いデザインが可能になる。

文字のフォント自体が、メモリー量を制約したが、現在では、それを機にする必要はなくなっていることに気がついていない人が多い。

It would be interesting to have a nicely designed poster or chart, preferably with the basic idea intact, like Dadaism.

Apple has succeeded in combining filters and effectors to make a photograph beautiful no matter who takes it, but the design is not yet complete.

That is what Dadaism is. There are two main types of Dadaism: Swiss Helvetica and German Dadaism.
In particular, Switzerland has succeeded in typography with the Neue Haus Grotesque as Helvetica.

Germany has adopted Statista GmbH in Hamburg (Stadt Hamburg), which presents German infographics on the world's largest statistical survey data platform, which I am currently collaborating with, in its typical icon and chart designs.

These two can be completed by replacing them with a modern look.

Quite interesting designs can be achieved by using the letters as pictures instead of fonts, as we adopted in the Honami Koetsu renmen typeface that we tried.

The font of letters itself constrained the amount of memory, but many people do not realise that it is no longer necessary to use it as an opportunity to do so today.
