月夜の狐と星の涙
天上の不思議と地上の欲望の領域に、かつて狐と星の涙の物語がありました。静かで穏やかな村に、夜行性の愛情を抱く狐が住んでいました。毎晩、上空の星のタペストリーの下で夢を見るのが狐の楽しみでした。しかし、最も暗い夜には、星は一つも空を飾っていませんでした。
取り乱した狐は、消えた星を探すことを誓いました。高い山々や広い川を越えて、狐は星の国に近づくまで旅をしました。そこで、星の美しさの精霊に出会いました。精霊は、夜の抱擁を求めなくなり、孤独に泣く星を残していった人間の忘れっぽい視線について語りました。彼らの涙は、霧のように、彼らの光を覆いました。
村に戻ると、星についての狐の物語は広まりました。村人たちは、再び天に目を向けると、星のきらめく輝きに心を動かされました。星の精霊は喜びに再び涙を流しましたが、それは今や高揚感の涙でした。それ以来、その涙は「星の涙」と呼ばれ、夜空はより一層明るく輝くようになりました。
そして、月明かりの夜には、星の国への道を案内するキツネが見えると言われています。これが、キツネが永遠の喜びの中で星と踊る「月明かりのキツネ」という伝説の起源です。
The Fox in the Moonlight and the Tears of the Stars
In the realm of celestial wonders and earthly desires, there once dwelt a tale of a fox and the stars' tears. 'Twas in a village, serene and still, where a fox of nocturnal affection did reside. Each eve, 'twas his delight to dream beneath the starry tapestry above. Yet, on a night most dark, not a single star did grace the firmament. Distraught, the fox vowed to seek the vanished stars.
O'er mountains high and rivers wide, the fox journeyed till the land of stars was nigh. Therein, a spirit of stellar beauty was met. The spirit spoke of mortals' forgetful gaze, no longer seeking the night's embrace, leaving stars to weep in solitude. Their tears, like mist, did shroud their light.
Returned to his hamlet, the fox tales of the stars did spread. The villagers, their eyes to heavens cast anew, found themselves stirred by the stars' resplendent glow. The star spirit, in joy, wept once more, but now tears of elation they were. Henceforth, those tears, known as 'stars' tears,' did make the night sky shimmer all the brighter.
And so 'tis said, on moonlit nights, one may espy the fox guiding the path to the starry realm. This marks the genesis of the lore, 'The Moonlit Fox,' where the fox dances with the stars in eternal mirth.
