「肌がオレンジで歯が緑色で服を反対に着て来たら、それでも私は私かな？」　サマンサ先生の人種差別ついてのクラスが素晴らしかった

オークランドの小学校教師サマンサ（Samantha）さんの人種差別に関する授業文字起こしをして日本語訳をつけてみました。とても素晴らしかったので。

「人種差別はいけないこと」「人を見た目で判断するな」とはサマンサ先生は一切言わないんですよね。

でも彼女の話を聞いた後には「見た目じゃなく中身が大事」と思わせてくれれる内容で、よくできたスピーチだと思いました。

２分ちょっとの短い話なので英語の聞き取りトレーニングとしても良いと思います。
（そして、僕の聴きとりに不安があるため、文字起こしが間違ってる箇所があるかもしれませんが、そこはすみません）

Students : No.

Samantha : Do we have the same color here?（ここに同じ色の人はいる？）
Students : No.

Samantha : Do we have the same color eyes?（同じ目の色の人は？）
Students : No.

Samantha : He's a boy and I'm a girl. Right?（彼は男の子で私は女の子だよね？）
Students : Yessss.

Samantha: So those are the four things that are different about us.（私たちには4つ違うところがあるね）

Samantha : How many eyes does he have?（私たち目は何個ある？）

Samantha : If I came to school tomorrow, with no hair, orange skin, green teeth, and all my clothes on backwards, would I still be me?（もし明日私が学校に来て、髪がなくて、肌がオレンジで歯が緑色で服を反対に着ていたら、それでも私は私かな？）
Students : Yes.

Samantha : Why? （どうして？）

Student: Because of your brain and heart.（脳と心が先生だから）

Samantha : Because of my brain and heart. That's all I need.（脳と心のおかげ。必要なのはそれだけね）

If Kateland came to school tomorrow with purple skin, and blue hair, would she still be Kateland?（もしケイトランドが紫の肌で青い髪で学校に来たら、彼女はケイトランドなのかな？）

Students : Yes.

Samantha : Would we still be her friend? （それでも私たちは彼女のまだ友達？）
Samantha : Do you want blue hair now?*（青い髪になりたい？）

Students : Yeah.

* Do you want blue here now?*（ここにあざが欲しい？）
⇨ ちゃんと聞き取れているか不安な部分。"blue"って聞こえるけど、文脈的にちょっと変とも思う。

→複数の人からご指摘いただき、文脈的に"Do you want blue hair now?"が自然だし、ほぼ間違いないかと。
