kittyと遊びたい

kittyが遊びたいときに敏感な彼女でございます。

僕なんかは、まだまだ、今遊びたいのかな、そう感じて、おもちゃを引っ張り出してきて遊ぼうとするのですが、kittyが遊びたい気分ではないときというものも多々ございます。
そのときを外すことが数度続きますと、潔く諦めまして、彼女が察知して遊び始めるまで、じっとしております。

遊び方に関しましても、彼女のほうが数十枚上手でございます。

柄の付いた長い紐のようなものを地面に這わせて、それをkittyがハントするというシンプルな遊び方なのでございますが、僕の這わせ方が悪いのでしょうね、kittyの野生本能を目覚めさせる動きではないようで、眺めるだけでハントすることなく終わる場合もございます。
彼女がやりますと、飛びついたり、息が切れ切れになるまで追いかけたり、野生本能をばっちりと見せつけてくれるのですが。

kittyのその紐をハントするという意志の強さは、彼女が平日ビールをやめるというものに匹敵するほど強いものでございまして、側から2人が遊んでいるのを眺めながら、kittyの大きく見開かれた目、全身でハントする躍動感、そのようなものを楽しませていただいております。

野生本能を目覚めさせる機会というものを、kittyのこれまでの人生で一度もないだろうに、なにか対象をハントするとき等にしっかりと目覚めるのは本当に興味深いところでございます。
例えば森で狼に育てられた人間が(真偽の程は定かではありませんが)、狼の生活スタイルを真似て育つことを考えれば、彼女に育てられたkittyもどこか人間の生活スタイルが色濃く発現してもおかしくはないでしょうが、そうではないようですね。

古の頃から変わらぬ猫、おそるべし。

My girlfriend is the one who is sensitive to the time kitty wants to play with toys.

I am still a novice and then even if I have a toy in my hands and try to play with him, he doesn’t feel like it most of the time. So if I take wrong turns a few times, I will quickly give up on it and just wait for their starting to play together.

Also she is much better at the way how to play with him.

We simply play like moving the stick with the lace as a mouse moves on the floor, and kitty will hunt it. But I guess I’m not good at moving that lace and he doesn’t come hunt it on his instinct, whereas he jumps to hunt it and chases it till he runs out of his breath if she is doing.

I enjoy seeing them playing together especially his widely open eyes and lively motion for hunting. His will for hunting is as strong as her will for not drinking beers on weekdays.

It’s interesting for me that he will has a strong animal instinct in his mind and when he sees objects which look like mice for instance, he will just focus on them and try to hunt them, even though he hasn’t met other cats and seen them doing so.
Human beings who were raised up by animals in the forest, wolves for example, had a custom and a life style which were quite similar to wild animals, so considering these cases (if they are true), kitty could have a life style affected by that of human beings. But truth is not.

Cats who haven’t changed from the ancient times are interesting.
