July 2, 2024: Studying Maths (55), Vector（数学の勉強（55）、ベクトル）

I have just finished the first part of the vectors section in my maths book.
It took me longer than expected to understand what the vector is. It was different from other sections that I have learnt. But I seemed to manage to understand the first part. I could solve the questions. The next is the last part of the pure maths chapter of this book. I will keep learning maths step by step.

English words and phrases I learnt from the book:

treat (noun)
- something special that you give someone or do for them because you know they will enjoy

as a treat
- as a reward:
・Steven took his son to a cricket match as a birthday treat.

be in for something
- to be going to experience something:
・The weather forecast says we're in for heavy rain this evening.

be in for a treat
- is about to experience something delightful or exciting:
・The audience is in for a treat tonight.

　ベクトルの第一回を終えたところです。ベクトルの考え方を理解するのに思ったより時間がかかりました。今まで習った他のセクションとは違っていました。でも、今回はなんとか理解できたようです。問題を解けました。次は純粋数学の最後です。これからもこつこつと数学を学んでいきます。
