June 11, 2024: Rare Experiences （珍しい体験）

I have seldom gazed at the sky. I like the blue sky and often see it from the windows of my home. But I have rarely gazed at it for a long time. Mostly, I have just glanced at it without feeling anything.
But when I look it a few days ago, I felt something special that I had never had. It was so beautiful and did not let me take my eyes off the sky. It was not that the sky had no specks of clouds. But it had a certain number of fluffy and round clouds. They were so cute that my eyes were glued to them. They also fascinated me because they were in a fine balance with the blue sky. Then, unusually, I rushed onto the balcony with my iPad. And I kept taking shots of the sky with the iPad. I also took a video of the sky. It was a rare experience. And I will never do it again.
In addition, the day before, I had another rare experience. When I was writing something, I heard a strange sound from the balcony. First, I did not mind it so much, but I was forced to listen to it because it did not lose for a while. So, I listened to it carefully. Then, I found a pigeon calling on the balcony. I am sorry, but her calls did not make me comfortable. But I never did anything against her. I just let her keep calling. Then, she had left before I knew it.
Sooner or later, I will have a third rare experience. In that case, I hope to have it with a nose. If I am able to have it with a nose, I will snub it with no surprise, as much as to say that I have been waiting for it.

　ボクは、空をじっくり眺めたことはほとんどありません。青空は好きだし、家の窓からもよく見ます。でも、空をじっと長い間、眺めていたことはほとんどありません。たいていは、ちらっと見るだけで、何も感じません。
でも、数日前に青空を見たとき、今までにない特別なものを感じました。とてもきれいで、目を奪われてしまいました。空には、雲ひとつなかったわけではありません。ふわふわした丸い雲がいくつかありました。それがとてもかわいく、目が釘付けになりました。また、青い空との絶妙なバランスにも魅了されました。そしたら、珍しく、iPadを持って自宅のベランダに飛び出し、空を連写しました。動画も撮りました。貴重な体験でしたが、二度とすることはないでしょう。
　さらに前日に、もうひとつ珍しい体験をしました。書き物をしていたとき、ベランダから奇妙な音が聞こえたのです。最初はあまり気にしていなかったのですが、しばらくしても鳴りやまないので耳を傾けました。耳を澄ましてみると、ベランダで鳩が鳴いていたのです。鳩には申し訳ないのですが、その鳴き声は心地よくありませんでした。でも、鳩には何もせず、鳴きつづけさせました。そしたら、いつの間にかいなくなっていました。
　この調子では、遅かれ早かれ、３回目の珍体験をしそうです。その時は、「鼻」で体験したいものです。そうできれば、驚かずに、「待ってました」といわんばかりに、鼻であしらってやります！
