東海岸と西海岸の終わりなき争い

こんにちは。純ジャパの純です。サンフランシスコに一度は住んでみたいです。

東海岸出身のBritneyですが、西海岸出身の友達と会うと決まって口論が始まります。その内容とは

東海岸と西海岸、結局どっちが良いの？

東海岸は自由の女神、西海岸はハリウッド、東海岸はホワイトハウス、西海岸はネバーランド、東海岸はハーバード、西海岸はスタンフォード、といった具合で争いの絶えない両者ですが、当事者のBritneyに本当のところをインタビューしてみました。

An example of a main difference is that West Coasters tend to be more laid back and relaxed. While East Coasters have a working mindset that needs to be satisfied with productivity. Stereotypes play heavily into these differences; some good, some bad. The lifestyle and weather of these two coasts do indeed vary and is what mainly contributes to differing mindsets. The actual difference between these two cannot be exactly defined but instead need to be experienced firsthand. Many modern TV shows wish to convey this through characters form California as the woke vegan alongside the grumpy coffee loving New Yorker. This fierce rivalry is more of a joke not consisting of any malice. Still, when an East Coaster and West Coaster meet, the joke of competition quickly arises.  

Now for the middle of America? Be assured, there is nothing of interest there.
