Too Close To Sharks

26/1/2021 Tue.

【Day 306】

I surfed at Tallow Beach this morning. The wind was very light, and the swell was quite solid, so it was pretty much fun. There were a lot of surfers out there different from yesterday.

We booked sea kayaking that was rescheduled from yesterday in the arvo. However, the onshore wind was a little bit too strong, so we had to reschedule again, unfortunately.

So we hanged out in The Pass for a while.

After that, I went to the Rip Curl shop and bought a surf jacket. The one of staff lady who helped me to select the size told me that she had a Japanese family name ‘Hashimoto’ as her husband was Japanese Brazilian.

Then when I paid for the jacket, the other staff guy told me that a 2.5 meter shark was sighted at Tallow beach this morning. I was scared. I was too close to the shark. This is surfing in Australia.
