Halloumi Cheese

Have you heard of halloumi cheese?

I didn’t know about it until I moved over here in Sydney.

It’s quite popular in Australia and a unique type of cheese that never melts even on the hot frying pan. 

Halloumi cheese is very salty so it tastes great just by baking it. Its gummy and chewy texture is addictive. 

You can see a lot of menus using halloumi cheese at cafes everywhere in Australia such as the halloumi sandwich, halloumi salad, something like that.

Today’s dinner was boiled pork and rice, but Minori doesn’t like to eat pork meat. So I baked halloumi cheese for her instead of boiled pork. She loves it pretty much.
